Just Venting

I do 95% of my Christmas shopping online for good reason. Yesterday I needed to make a liquor run. I ventured into the dreaded Orland during Christmas. Silly me. The traffic was a nightmare (in the middle of the afternoon) and the stores were no better. So I'm in line waiting to check out at the liquor store and the 2 people in line ahead of me are writing checks! Who does this anymore? Have they not discovered the debit card? And if they must write checks perhaps they could have everything but the amount filled in beforehand! There's a concept.
